ART-ATHINA Contemporary Art Fair, Faliro Pavilion, Athens, Greece
ART-ATHINA, one of the oldest art fairs in Europe, is organised now for the 21st time. The annual fair has over 35,000 visitors. MUU Gallery has received an invitation to participate in its PLATFORM PROJECT,
which in 2016 features 51 artist-run galleries from 15 countries. The
total number of galleries participating in the fair is one hundred, and
the programme also includes several curated shows, collection
exhibitions, organisational presentations, events and talks.

At the fair MUU will present the recently updated Performance Art Bank and its features. Performance artist Helinä Hukkataival will perform daily at MUU's booth and will also participate in the Performance Art Bank's Some Artist Week campaign. Essi Kausalainen's Performance Portfolio will be on display, as well as a short documentary about the creation of her community performance Diamonds and Pearls.
MUU's collection of international video performances, Performance Voyage 6, was selected for the fair's Art Athina Film programme.
The artists of the Performance Voyage 6 compilation are Caroline Blais,
James Duesing, Roberto Fassone, Rick Fisher & Don Rice, Andrew de
Freitas, Stefan Hurtig, Henri Hütt, Linda Lenssen, Michael Mallis,
Roberta Orlando, Johanna Reich, Pia Sirén, Niko Skorpio, Willem
Wilhelmus & Tomasz Szrama.
